Ken Kelleher’s Scribble Brings a Four-Metre Yellow-Finish Sculpture to a Private Estate in Doha
A vivid stainless steel work translates the energy of a drawn line into monumental form.
Doha, Qatar
DOHA — Internationally recognized sculptor Ken Kelleher, also known as Anchorball, has installed Scribble, a four-metre stainless steel sculpture in a vivid yellow finish, at a private estate in Doha.
Related to Kelleher’s Hand Drawn Series, Scribble translates the freedom and immediacy of a drawn line into a permanent, monumental form — preserving the instinct of the gesture while expanding it into architectural space.
“
Scribble is a single line let loose in three dimensions. The colour makes it joyful, but the form is serious — it holds the whole energy of a fast, confident mark.— Ken Kelleher (aka Anchorball)
For collectors, the work demonstrates how Kelleher’s gestural vocabulary can bring colour, energy and personality to a private landscape.
Scribble extends Kelleher’s Hand Drawn language into vivid, colour-driven monumental sculpture.
