Ken Kelleher (aka Anchorball) Completes Cosmos Deluxe for Private Collection in Miami Beach

Internationally recognized sculptor Ken Kelleher, also known as Anchorball, has completed Cosmos Deluxe, a monumental 15-foot painted stainless steel sculpture created for a private collection in Miami Beach.

Part of Kelleher's ongoing Floral Series, the work transforms the familiar structure of a flower into an architectural-scale presence. Sweeping blue-and-white forms rise from the surrounding tropical landscape, creating a vivid exchange between sculpture, vegetation and contemporary residential architecture.

Fabricated in painted stainless steel for permanent outdoor installation, Cosmos Deluxe combines the visual immediacy of colour with the permanence and physical authority of monumental sculpture. Its highly finished surfaces respond continuously to the changing Florida light, while its distinctive silhouette allows the work to be experienced from both intimate and distant viewpoints.

At 15 feet tall, the sculpture functions as more than a singular object. It becomes a destination within the property and a defining element of the collection—one that establishes identity, scale and a lasting sense of place.

The work reflects Kelleher's approach to major private and public commissions: creating sculptures that are joyful, visually direct and immediately recognizable, while maintaining the presence and durability required for significant architectural environments.

Cosmos Deluxe was developed and completed between 2024 and 2025 and now forms a permanent focal point within its Miami Beach setting.
