Tic Tac Toe and Half Stack
Have some new renderings up. First one is called 'Hover.' Second is 'Requiem.'
New renderings up for a series of urban sculptures I call the Inflate series - the pieces are actually conceived as stainless steel fabrications - with a black finish.
Also availability in a coffee table size
Experimenting with some new additions to the Shiny Series, including the Shiny Shovel.
The imaginary life of forms captured as still lives. Objects of the everyday experience combine with forms born in the imagination to create form poems.
The pieces shown here are what I consider material or object sketches, They're models for pieces that will eventually be cast in bronze with a matte black finish.
These are currently available as commissioned pieces, DM if you're interested in commissioning one. You can see more of these on the sculpture page here: http://www.kenkelleher.com/#/form-poems/
The primer layer is on, liking the minimalist feel of these.
New concept for a sculptures made out of tennis ball rubber & fabric has been added to my future series pieces.
New work in progress. Calling this one 'Thresher'. It will be bolted together in 3 sections so I can transport it by hand. Together with all the pieces it weight about 300 lbs
Started working on a series where I combine a larger variety of materials - starting with wood & steel. Also, pushing an exploration of how I connect the pieces.
Concept stage of a sphere based sculpture series I’m developing. The spheres can be created in with various textures and finishes in steel or aluminum as well as multiple configurations that suit the space, inside a lobby, or in a public square. In this rendering I’m showing a more earthy finish of textured steel. If you’re interested in helping produce the series, contact me via email.
